Selected straight engraving strokes
Offline review with additional files and records
Scope and limits
Compares modeled mouth width and maximum normal depth of selected straight blind engraving strokes with independently supplied supplier limits.
This review is available through the separate offline tools. It does not run automatically when you upload a STEP file and requires the additional inputs described below.
Required inputs
Part CAD, a declared marking process, supplier qualification and width/depth limits. Select a complete rectangular floor and its length direction, or the host face and two end faces of a constant polygon section. Polygon limits must explicitly refer to mouth width and maximum depth normal to the host.
Assessment limits
Closed straight blind strokes in one solid body: rectangular floors or constant V, tapered, asymmetric and concave polygon sections, including undercuts and matching straight subdivisions. Repeated strokes and unrelated holes are supported in axis-aligned poses. Curved, rounded, merged/intersecting or varying sections remain unsupported. Results depend on CAD geometry and native tolerances; tool access, physical laser width, material conservation and production acceptance are not established.
