Sheet metal · Laser cutting · Plasma cutting · Flame cutting

Scope and limits

Cutout corner radius far below the kerf

Model example

A 30 × 15 mm window whose four corners carry a 0.04 mm radius. A laser beam is about 0.15 mm wide, so a corner radius below half the kerf (0.075 mm) cannot be cut as drawn; the beam rounds it.

Dimensions (approx.): 100 × 60 × 3 mm

Expected check result

PRU-085 should warn about the corner radius below half the kerf and nothing else.
