PRU-251Declared input

Required mask missing from coating plan

Machining · Sheet metal · Casting · Additive manufacturing · Hot-dip galvanizing

Scope and limits

Compare explicitly required uncoated face IDs against the declared mask plan, on one valid solid. INFO for omitted faces; no inference of threads, mating intent, mask fit or actual coating deposition.

Source scope
Declared pre-coating geometry, target points, gun positions and explicitly required uncoated faces.
Implementation in Prufi
Supplier recommends gun line of sight and explicit masking of mating/tapped regions; Protolabs finishing guidance requires drawing locations for masks/plugs. PRU250 screens exact selected-point visibility; PRU251 checks declared mask-plan coverage only. Nordson documents powder wrap and process-dependent recess coverage, so occlusion is INFO, never proof that coating is impossible. Sources and limits in coating-plan-v4 research ledger.
